Amazing Hotels

We know that a lot of you like to read our articles while you’re at work (naughty, naughty pandas), so we’ve created a virtual vacation trip with amazing hotels around the world that you’d rather be sitting in right now.
These locations will take you from the icy forests of Finland to the jungles of Bali and from the streets of Paris to the turquoise Mediterranean waters of Greece. As diverse as they are, there’s one thing tying them together – each location is perfectly suited for you to take a breather and relax.
In their fight to attract adventurous (and often wealthy) visitors, hotels have often been at the forefront of creative structure and interior design, struggling to create ever more intriguing and attractive rooms in ever more exotic locales. That’s why you get hotels perched atop cliff faces, hotels built inside of sea caves, hotels with waterfalls, and other amazing feats of engineering. Some, like the Conrad Maldives shown here or the Manta resort in Zanzibar, even let their guests sleep underwater.
These places look good (though probably a bit pricey), but I wonder about some of the sleeping arrangements. I’m not sure if I’d like to sleep together with my significant other in a bed that anyone could see! Although I guess that’ll only be worth worrying about once I can afford a trip to one of these places.

office

This aerodynamic tube office, designed by Spanish architects Jose Selgas and Lucia Cano, allows its workers to feel as though they’re working in the middle of a picturesque Spanish forest.
Half of the office, which the two architects designed for their architecture firm Selgascano, is dug into the ground in a forest outside of Madrid. This ensures that the office stays cool even during the hot Spanish summers.
A long window that curves up to the ceiling runs along the length of the office and eliminates the need for artificial lighting during the day. This window is also attached to a hinge and pulley mechanism that allows it to open up and keep the building ventilated. The other half of the building features an insulated fiberglass wall that helps shade the office’s workers from direct sunlight.
The office building’s sunken floor, along with the large and unusual window, means that employees sitting at their desks have an eye-level view of the forest floor. This, combined with the view of the forest on one side and the sky above, make it seem like the office must be a fairly relaxing place to work. Imagine working every day in a sustainable building surrounded by a beautiful forest!

Creative Print

Most ads out there are annoying, but given the amount of professionals working in the marketing and advertising industries, they’re bound to come up with something cool and creative sooner or later. We’ve searched the web and collected some of the most creative print ads we could find.
Some of them feature clever tongue-in-cheek jokes that make us laugh, others have clever puns that make us think, and some even make us react emotionally. The Crisis Relief ads especially excel at this last point. It’s nice of these companies to respect us by appealing to our intellect or sense of humor rather than simply trying to catch our attention with a simple low-cut neckline or flashy colors.
Most of these ads don’t just advertise the company or cause behind them, they also make an actual point. So if you don’t understand the angle at first, give it some time and think about it.
Businesses have been trying to cram things down people’s throats for about as long as they’ve existed, but the ways in which they tried to do it weren’t always so sophisticated. Here’s a post we wrote about vintage ads that would have been either banned or denounced by the public if they were published today.
Maybe if more ads looked like this, we wouldn’t hate them so much. Take a look!

amazing places

Our world is so full of wonders that new and amazing places are discovered every day, be that by professional photographers or amateurs. Different geographical locations, climatic conditions and even seasons offer the widest variety of natural wonders: pink lakes, stunning lavender or tulip fields, breath-taking canyons and mountains, and other places you can hardly believe actually exist!
Some of the pictures in this collection will be of all natural sights you can find while traveling around the world, while the others have experienced human interference – but even in these cases, the result of such collaboration is spectacular. The Japanese learned how to tame thousands of orchids and form a romantic tunnel out of them; another one was formed all the way in Ukraine by a passing train; and what eventually ends up as hot tea in our mugs, first grows in stunning tree fields in Asia.
No wonder that traveling in one of the best forms of recreation – even looking at these pictures takes your mind to far away places… And yes, all those of those places are real!

Dolls

Sander Reijgers a Dutch artist designed very strange kind of clothes from the inflatable sex dolls. He designed them especially for the rainy season, as the material used for the construction of hoods was water proof. He used clothing material from the fifty different blow-up dolls. He combined existing tracksuits with the fabric of blow-up dolls by taking material from heads, breast, and various other pieces. The artist stated that those dolls were in such a distorted shape that changing them into some useful thing was the biggest challenge for him. He also cleared his views about blow-up dolls saying that these are meant for doing some other kind of activity instead of sex as they are so ugly and unpleasant. Filling air in such things and using them for sex, is nothing but a pure lust.
This amazing ideas pop-up in the mind of Reijgers after reading “The malady do Death” written by Marguerite Duras. In this book, the central character was insensitive towards the human feeling; so, he decided to hire paid women for sex to have some feelings. However, this artist decided to make this world better place by turning those sex toys into the useful clothing like hoods. Thus, he protected the feelings of those dolls.

world cup

In this post we will tell you about a world cup competition.   After struggling to create chances in the opening period, Portugal began the second half with more intent and after a bout of pinball in the Sweden box, Lustig had to be aware to clear on the goal line.  Nani – who had a quiet first half – sparked the game into life again in the 54th minute when he fired in a low cross that Per Nilsson put behind for a corner with Helder Postiga waiting to pounce.
The home side continued to create the better second-half openings and Postiga again flashed a near-post header from Moutinho’s corner just wide.  Portugal was finally rewarded in the 82nd minute when Miguel Veloso’s teasing cross was met by Ronaldo, who headed across Isaksson.  The game could have had more gloss when another Ronaldo header rebounded off the post with five minutes remaining but Portugal had to settle for its one-goal advantage ahead of the second leg in Solna.

similar pictures

The pictures you see below are just an example of how similar we can look to people and animals much different than us.  As you can see some of the photos are very hilariously the same.  It is a wonder that attitudes and ways of living our lives are drastically different yes we all live together on this planet in relative harmony.  The photos express in picture form a personality and a set of choices.  We can see in the eyes and the smile what type of person is before us.  So many people in history have looked similar to someone and how they look influences people to follow them or deny them as a friend or leader.  While how someone looks is important it is also important to look beyond the physical and to see them based on their behaviour and intention.  We hope you enjoy our funny comparisons but keep in mind, it is only for a little humour in our life.
